The Blue Horse is proud to host wine tasting in the café every Saturday from 4-7 PM.  Each week, different wines are featured from small-production wineries located in the Pacific Northwest, Northern California and Europe.  Come join us as we sample distinctive wines and savor the wine-maker’s art.

Our menu, like the art and music in the Blue Horse, changes constantly.  We offer delicious sandwiches, soul-warming soups, beguiling appetizers, fresh salads and artfully composed small platters that stimulate the senses.  While we favor local, organic ingredients (and take special pleasure in highlighting seasonal offerings) we also bring you gastronomical delights from around the globe (our hand-selected cheeses are blissfully delicious).   And don’t neglect your sweet tooth:  Our deserts are an invitation to Nirvana.

The Blue Horse thinks life is too short to drink mediocre wine.  That’s why we choose the best wines from the Pacific Northwest and Northern California small-production wineries to serve in our café.   Some well-known.  Some obscure.  All delicious.  We always offer a tantalizing selection of house wines and enjoy featuring special wines that we discover - by the bottle or the glass.

We also offer distinctive micro-brews for the beer aficionados out there (you know who you are) who enjoy savoring a refreshing ale.

We’ve teamed up with Bellingham’s Agri-Bay Coffee Roasters to produce our own blend of organic, full-bodied coffee, a perfect accompaniment for delectable treats from The Mount Bakery and Katie’s Cupcakes.  Life is good.  Enjoy yourself.
